Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

Still this years top smartphone pick, if you think Samsung is finished, think twice. After the successful release of the Note 8, the latest addition to Samsung's Note line, it seems Samsung just might want to bring the Tab line back to relevance.

Just today, Samsung has made it official - an all new Galaxy Tab will be on its way - similar to the earliest Tab, a 7" device that is expected to compete on the mid-ranged tablet battle - the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will feature a 7" display in a 1024x600 pixel. Using a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, the Tab 3 will be out with Android 4.1 at 1GB of RAM with an 8 and 16 Gigabyte variant.

The device will be out in a Wifi-only and Wifi+3G variant - the former will be out on May and the latter on June. Other specs include a 3 megapixel main camera and 1.3 megapixel upfront - something lower than today's standards on mid-ranged tablets and phones.
